I've got all these Gates, and Maze's End, and Amulet of Vigor, and Fastbond, and Manabond.... there's got to be some sort of way to break it. Help me figure it out!

Fastbond isn't legal in legacy.

Exploration

Azusa, Lost but Seeking

Also, Maze's End in Legacy would be freakin hilarious.

I got two Explorations. I'm trying to do this on the cheap. Any other ideas besides Azusa?

I know that Summer Bloom is a pretty common staple for this sort of stuff. Is that a good one?

You're all doing it wrong.

Flood the field with a lot of tokens, Use Jace, the Mind Sculptor and/or Brainstorm to set the new card The Great Aurora (from Magic Origins, green mythic) on top of your library from your hand, then Goryo's Vengeance or Sneak Attack a Narset, Enlightened Master into play, attack and cast The Great Aurora, shuffle the tokens, your hand, and all other permanents back into your library and draw your whole deck, drop all 10 gates, a maze, and if you're really on top of things, your other lands will enter untapped and you will be able to cast a Turnabout in your hand right then and there to untap all your lands and maze for game.

Or just ramp, play Boundless Realms on turn 3-4ish and then Scapeshift for game. Less cool though.

.....wut.

In all (semi) seriousness, here is my deck.

Maze Runner

-Logician Less cool, but far more practical. The cooler one could be a fun EDH deck though!

The cooler way seems to involve more cantrips and force of will, which I wouldn't describe as "less practical" per se.

It does involve tokens though, which can be dealt with fairly easily. If they were made by an infinite combo it would be faster, but even more dependent on a perfect scenario.

You don't want infinite tokens. That would deck yourself. You just want "some" tokens, like with the use of the Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry combo.

-Logician I guess you're right, as getting infinite tokens means you can use those to win faster than the combo.

jandrobard Indeed. You could just win with those tokens. When I build decks though, I'm the kind of deck builder that tries to put together a ridiculous combo. In a way, I go for style points more than anything else. Instead of walking the path of practicality that one should in a competitive setting, I tend walk a path of distinction, hoping to set my deck apart from others. Choosing not to use The Great Aurora in the way I described is probably a good choice if you're looking for more consistency and competitiveness.
