Thoughtseize is only 2 of?

Hey I am running a Dimir Pure Control deck and was wondering if anyone objected to me only running two Thoughtseize in the main board. I no it sounds strange but I am usually winning at 3 or 4 life and the thoughtseize will not help. I also side it out against almost every deck but big creatures and the mirror match. In the both cases I side it in. I have two in the side board as well.

There's nothing wrong with only running 2 TS in the main. If it works keep it up.

There's nothing wrong with only running two because it can be a dead draw at any point in the game.

If you're only siding it in against big creatures why not use Despise instead? It hits what you need it for and doesn't cost the 2 life...
