Thoughts on Blue Moon

I know this deck hadent been played since BoTG, but I was wondering maybe is Lee Shi Tian's old deck list could make a comback. I know there would definitely be some tweaking since abzan and twin are big decks now, but any thoughts on it making a return at all?
I think the archetype could still be successful. Blood Moon just beats some decks. Jeff Hoogland recently piloted a Temur Moon deck that splashed green for Tarmogoyf and Nature's Claim in the SB. I think you could probably stay U/R or maybe go Sultai with Tasigur, the Golden Fang or something.

The deck is sort of good right now. Fucks over a lot of decks that either can't deal with it or don't have enough basics to support their deck (see non-blue decks). It's just that if you don't get Blood Moon out then you need to be better than Twin, the other UR control deck. And that's hard to do.

I personally have mixed feelings about blue moon. I like the beer in general, and it's really good on tap... but everyone always insists you drink it with the damn orange. And yea, it's kinda nice, but sometimes I don't want the damn orange but people look at you odd if you drink it without it.

It's fine without the orange. There's better stuff out there anyway.

There's a beer called blue moon? Weird...
Anyway, the deck is positioned somewhat nicely in the current meta, but dealing with Twin is your biggest issue.

I mean, I know there's better beer out there, but drinking the same beer over and over again gets kinda boring. Gotta mix it up, without, you know, resorting to coors light.
Hofbrau is my favorite beer company
Hard to find and harder to find on tap... but it's some of the best tasting beer in the world if you can find it on tap.

Blue Moon is pretty drinkable if you like the style, but I'd go for a Troegs Dreamweaver...
Oh right, cards. Yeah, what everyone else said - you might need your board to be super anti-Twin in that case.

Against Twin, you are kinda dead with blue moon. Against literally everything else, you can do well. I would think about splashing a third color potentially rather than just running UR

Theres a guy at my LGS that mains blue moon and he's disgustingly good with it. Its absolutely a solid deck in the hands of a skilled control player.

as an amulet bloom player, I can confirm that blue moon would force me into a break from modern.
