I have been thinking of a deck idea that revolves around Mirror Mockery and Wingmate Roc. I having some trouble figuring out the right cards to add.

@ducttapedeckbox: Mirror Mockery's tokens aren't given haste and are exiled shortly after. It's centered primarily around ETB effects from the creatures it copies, more specifically the raid mechanic introduced in the block, which gives benefits based on if the creatures enters after another one attacked.

I thought it would go nicely with Altar of the Brood because it would trigger the altar twice when Wingmate Roc attacks.

I don't play standard, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Mirror Mockery sets you up for easily being 2-for-1'd, so countermagic will be your friend here. You want to protect your threats while swinging in for lots of damage. Also be weary that Dragons are a big thing right now (right...?), and most of them eat your bird no probolem. What about that protection spell with rebound?
