Terra Stomper?

In my current devotion to green deck I am running 4x Hydra Broodmaster because of the amazing monstrous ability to pump out more creatures.

I have recently been interested in Terra Stomper and here are a few pros that I see in both of them.

Broodmaster:

  • Monstrous ability makes it larger AND gives extra creatures. There's no bounds to how big you can make it.

  • Pairs well with Xenagos, the Reveler and can help him pump out extra mana

Stomper:

  • 8/8 for 6. Offering THREE devotion.

  • Can't be countered (situational).

  • Trample allows you to get past trump blockers and deal some extra damage.

As you can see, there are good points to both sides and also limitations. I run 2x Nylea, God of the Hunt and that is my only source of giving creatures trample.

Should I throw in some Stompers instead of Broodmasters? SHould I replace Broodmaster altogether? Let me know.

This is my most current deck. Although I'm in the process of replacing Reverent Hunter with Polukranos, World Eater . And a few other small mana changes

Green Dev is currently more on the Hornet Queen plan. It give the same 3 dev and puts 6 power in the air. Deathtouch is relevant.

I'd do 3x hydra broodmaster and one terra stomper. terra stomper is more prone to removal. hydra broodmaster pumps out all those big creatures. 11 mana for 5 5/5 creatures. really good in green and red with ramp
