Shu Yun Equipment vs Auras
Deck Help forum

Playing Tiny Leaders with Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest. Most of the "boom" comes from instant/sorcery pumps and Runechanter's Pike to round out the extra damage needed.
I have a few slots open and was wondering what I would benefit from more: equipment like the various swords or even Jitte, or would it be better to use auras like Steel of the Godhead and Daybreak Coronet?

Both are fine, I've seen equally explosive versions of both. Auras are a bit easier to get going due to only playing 1 cost to get it on your leader, but if a timely removal spell comes along it leads to bigger blowouts. Equipment is a bit more expensive mana wise but way more resilient. I'd suggest a good mix, but Runechanter's Pike is the bee's knees. You can focus on one or the other but I'd have at least 3 or 4 of the other to make sure you're balanced.

My deck is VERY outdated and needs some serious updates, but it serves to illustrate a pretty potent take on Shu.

Cool, maybe I'll do the auras take on this with a smattering of "essential" swords to balance it.

I should note: I'm not looking into auras because its budget friendly, just wondering if it's in general stronger than equipments.
