Old school mono blue control

I'm working on a modern deck that's reminiscent of the mono-blue decks of old. I'd appreciate feedback and be very interested in playtests and other reports!
I think the number and types of counterspells needs tweaking, I'm unsure about condescend but I would like more counterspells that just generically 'work' against both creatures and non-creatures. I'm also unsure about whether the wincon is Batterskull or Guile or Wurmcoil Engine and whether I want 1 copy or 2. I like Batterskull as a vigilant lifelinker, and I like Guile because it's hilarious, somewhat unblockable and gets shuffled back in when it 'dies'.
