Need some opinions - Akroan Crusader or Spark Elemental

Hello everyone. I've been running some playtests for my Spartan themed Boros aggro deck. I'm trying to determine which is the better 1 drop for the deck - Akroan Crusader or Spark Elemental. Spark brings his damage much faster which is great for aggro, but over the next few turns, the Crusader brings more damage overall and helps aid in your big lethal swing. The Spark brings trample and forces an opponent to choose whether or not blocking him is worth the creature trade or if just taking the 3 since he dies afterward is better. But the Crusader helps you go wide which synergizes really well with Anax and Cymede's pump.
I'd like some thoughts and opinions from the community - pros and cons of both. Thanks guys!
