Yeah, you aren't really giving us much there...

Few different ways you can go. If there are colours you like, learn about how they are usually played and what cards people use most often. It also really depends on your format, if you are playing constructed play or just kitchen table top stuff.

So first things first, what colours are you more inclined to use?

The best thing to do starting out is find a certain mechanic or play style that interests you, then search for deck types here or browse cards in Gatherer.

If you just want to use the cards you have, pick one that seems the coolest and post it here along with other cards of the same mana color that you have. If you have more than one cool card post those too.

It really depends on the format you want to play. Why did you get into magic?

There are few to no restrictions on how old or what cards you have in a deck in legacy, commander/EDH, and casual play formats.

There are no restrictions in any formats on card color combinations. Red and Green colored mana cards can work together (sometimes called Gruul decks), just as you can makes decks out of only one color (mono-colored decks) or decks with 6 colors. For people just starting, usually a mono-color or 2 color deck is preferable.

As I said, it really depends on what you will be playing. If the people you are going to be playing with are playing modern at the LGS and you are playing kitchen table casual, you are playing a very different game

first play casual. try starter decks and once you get the feel of what colors you like, pick a format. then pick a deck in that format and start building it
