raptor's mono blue control So this is my latest attempt using Nivmagus Elemental early game if I draw him and then countering threats as they come drop Jace, the Living Guildpact to get the draw and ive found the ulty not only possible but quite useful. Finally AEtherling to finish the job.

Still need to work out some kinks, especially Mistcutter Hydra and Skylasher defense (hence the number of artifacts in side board)

Get rid of Pin to the Earth ; add Rapid Hybridization . Want to hose Mistcutter Hydra ? Then run Ratchet Bomb .

One more thing, up your land count OR add card draw to ensure you always hit land. Options for draw: Quicken , Divination , Inspiration , Jace's Ingenuity .

trying to keep in standard so much as Id love Quicken not crazy about going up such high mana ill give Divination a go maybe

yea sorry, I actually just realised 2014 is, I assumed it would go out as 2015 came in XD. Def putting in Ratchet Bomb

The whole reason Nivmagus Elemental is good is the Cipher affect. Throw out Hidden Strings or Hands of Binding then let Nivmagus eat the copies till hes huge.

great 8 mana drop problem in mono blue is getting 8 mana XD Ill def look at AEtherspouts but im not entirely sold on the "attacking creatures" restriction. Really need Bident of Thassa for that
