So I've been working on this b/g rock list for a while shown here:

The deck is super sweet so far but there is one slot in the deck I'm not certain of and would like some external input. For this slot I need a stand-alone 2 drop creature and I'm currently filling that space with a Pack Rat. Pack Rat has the ability to go wide to protect planeswalkers, create chump blockers or take over the game. There is enough card draw in the deck to create an army of rats and each copy adds 1b devotion to the board which makes the Gray Merchant of Asphodels more potent. However, this slot could also be filled by Spellskite who makes a good blocker, protects planeswalkers from bolts or decays, shields Phyrexian Obliterator or other creatures from removal, and is great in matches like burn and infect. I'm leaning towards Spellskite being the right choice but would like some discussion on the matter. If anyone has suggestions for another card to fill this slot I'm all ears!
