Mardu Walkers Deck

Trying to make a bit of a budget Mardu Walkers deck for casual (We use cards from Theros onwards only though).

Biggest expense seems to be Elspeth. Any budget alternatives for any card would be great though. I'm more interested in fun than competitiveness.

Also need help on the mana base, as I always seem to have trouble with it. Shouldn't be too bad as I've based it heavily on existing lists.

Would also love to try and fit in "Empty the Pits" here if I can. Love the idea of that card.

The aristocrats one looks pretty fun to play, but I couldn't afford to put a Gideon in it. What would be the best like-for-like replacement, or just something equally good? I was looking at an Elspeth.
