Make This Deck Modern-Legal?

Deck Help forum

Hi all!

I have a W/B Enchantments deck, and currently I run 2x Daxos the Returned in it. Now of course, since Daxos is from Commander 2015, he is not Modern Legal. However, he plays a pivotal role in the deck, as I use the tokens he generates to boost Sphere of Safety.

Basically, can anyone think of a worthy, Modern-legal substitute for this card? I myself cannot think of something, and so I look upon others to assist me. I can't quite find something that fits so perfectly, but unfortunately Commander sets aren't legal in Modern and so I am stuck in a predicament.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Heliod, God of the Sun makes enchantment tokens too, though his are smaller. Enchanted Evening is also an option - it makes all your lands enchantments to boost your overall count.

Boza, Heliod, God of the Sun may actually be an awesome choice here. It may not be as good as Daxos, but for the purposes of making the deck Modern-legal it does roughly the same job, plus the vigilance is pretty nice.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'll add it to the deck's sideboard.

Additionally, I would lose the black. The incidental lifeloss/gain is not important as it takes too long to get going. More exile effects like Path to Exile or something like Leyline of Sanctity and Idyllic Tutor are what the deck needs.
