Looking to build EDH with Karametra, God of Harvests

Deck Help forum

I'm going to attempt to build an EDH deck with Karametra, God of Harvests as a general. I would like the idea to run lots of landfall such as Avenger of Zendikar , but need other ideas. I would like to include Avacyn, Angel of Hope as my big hitter, but what are some cards that are a must for a deck like this. I need to be pointed in the right direction!

Thanks!!!

Since you need to cast creatures you'll need draw to guarantee you don't run out. Garruk, Primal Hunter is one of my favorites for this. Greater Good serves a lot of purpose for saving creatures from Control Magic s.

Wild Pair ?

This seems like an okay place to plug my Karametra deck:

I went for a sort of hybrid archetype. I had originally desired to go strict landfall as you desire, but since so many of those creatures interacted with tokens, I also added in a token theme. I've tried very hard to keep this deck at a "75% level", but I've included all "unfair" cards in my sideboard in case I want to bring them in against stronger decks.

Hopefully seeing another similarly-designed build will give you some ideas! :)

Other good landfall cards to use would be things like Admonition Angel , Emeria Angel , Grazing Gladehart , Rampaging Baloths , and Seer's Sundial

Lotus Cobra can be ridiculous.

I second the Admonition Angel suggestion.

Perilous Forays and Amulet of Vigor are two other cards I would consider. The amulet especially since it makes Karametra's ramp even better.

Well, depends on what you want to do with Karametra. I opted to focus on her combo potential, since she thins the deck so well:

The key combo is either a big Genesis Wave or a Primal Surge for basically your whole deck. Sadly, you do not get to play instants or sorceries with this build, but it is a good sacrifice to make for something that puts your most of your deck into play.

Depending on how comfortable you are with turning land to creatures you could use cards like Rude Awakening , Elvish Branchbender , and Nissa, Worldwaker

I second Rampaging Baloths . I'd consider some of the X cost hydras for fun too since mana will be abundant.
