Kuro, Pitlord in Modern?

So, Kuro, Pitlord is usually extremely unplayable. However, I think he might have a shot. The idea is to stall the game, then ramp into him, use his ability, then deal a done of damage.
For mana ramp, I have a few ideas:
Magus of the Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth : at five lands, we can get five mana out of tapping magus and two lands.
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx: as long as we have Kuro, he's super efficient.
Crypt Ghast: just solid. The added extort is nice life that we can spend on kuro's ability.
Birds of Paradise: the deck is a junk build, so we need the mana-fixing. Obvious include.
Shaman of Forgotten Ways: the mana is great for Kuro, and with enough ramp (I'm talking magus AND nykthos) we can shell off some -1/-1 stuff, kill all our opponents dudes. Next turn Cloudshift Kuro, then use the nine power to get formidable, and win out-a-nowhere
Doubling Cube: well duh.
I want the deck to be control. With all the mana ramp we can run Absorb Vis and/or Sorin's Vengeance. Disciple of Phenax and our friend Gary (grey merchant ar good, but in order to get full value out of them and nykthos, we need more devotion. I also want at least 2 tutors. I added white for Cloudshift to get around that four black, I also added it to get more control cards and life gain cards to abuse the ability. Wall of Omens is good for stalling.
Any suggestions?

What Kryzis said. I'd love to see the full brew deck list.

Not on tapppedout, no. I have tried many iterations and am searching for one that works. I know most of the cards I want, the ones listed above, just don't really know how many of 'em or what true control cards to add.

I checked out your list and was going to say Somberwald Sage, but the 9 power Kuro plus Shaman of Forgotten Ways is too good to change.
I always enjoy a good rogue build so maybe Glittering Wish if you have other multicolored dudes, but sadly I realize it doesn't work with kuro:(
