Is it possible to put together an enchantment based deck around Satyr Enchanter?

I know there would be a few cards that would good in that setup like Druid of Horns

Would it only work in GW or would it work with GW+blue splash??

Well, satyr is not good enough to warrant an enchantment deck by itself. It is not the wincon you are looking for. However, I think any hexproof creature is a big payoff towards that goal. Currently, Palladia-Mors, the Ruiner, Vine Mare, Carnage Tyrant and Bristling Hydra are the best targets for loading up with auras for an alpha strike. If you combine any of the above with Onward // Victory, it is an instant win (vine mare and hydra may require an +1/+0 from an aura).

In short, no Satyr is not good enough. You need many other effects of the sort in order for an cnchantress deck to be born.

In Standard, I think it could be a sort-of deck. UW Ascend was already a thing, with Slippery Scoundrel, aura-based card draw like Cartouche of Knowledge and Curious Obsession, and Aura-based removal like Seal Away. There's also powerful one-drops in Novice Knight, etc. So, I would be tempted to try UWg Auras, with green splashed for the Enchanter and Vine Mare.

An alternative could be Wgr for Valduk, Keeper of the Flame, I suppose. But that seems a little "cute", and less powerful.

The problem with that deck, is that it only takes one board wipe/Settle the Wreckage from UW control and you've pretty much lost, so you've got to have a contingency plan for rebuilding your board state quickly. Maybe Legion's Landing  Flip could be one path towards that? Idk. Just my two cents.

Boza No that idea wouldn't work for bigger midrange cards...because that sounds more like a midrange approach and I don't think that would work very well...hexproof can still get exiled and deathtouched so the only viable card I would pick from that group is carnage tyrant because of it's threat.

landofMordor I think the same can be said about any deck when Settle the Wreckage is involved, but would you use Spell Pierce or Negate to counter it though? I mean UW + splash of green should have an answer here I think.

beyond that...cards that should have potential with this deck from a GW standpoint are smaller cards that turn into big threats later and you should be able to load up a lot of enchantments.

Druid of Horns/Deeproot Champion/Shapers' Sanctuary/Blossoming Defense/Talons of Wildwood

In standard? No that wouldn’t work.

Enchantress in modern is bad.

You could make a casual deck around it

EDH is generally where you would find enchantress decks.

Legacy has an enchantress deck but it’s not very good(see mtg goldfish metagame for legacy and click see more)

Enchantress decks are popular in commander and are good because there are a lot of cards with this effect and drawing cards is great there. In modern you would rather cast faithless looting and be done with it than have a durdly turn 3-4 card advantage engine.

I actually love Thorn Lieutenant for fending off spot removal, too... and between some recursive value engines (Adorned Pouncer), Spell Pierce (which no one ever sees coming and it's awesome!), and Blossoming Defense, it's worth a try, at least online or on Arena! Let me know what works for you, friend!

kysg im not saying you wont draw cards from it, i'm saying it wouldn't be a good deck, if rancor were in standard, this might be a different story.

TypicalTimmy probbably true

plus standard has no good hexproof creatures that come down early.
