Improving Cost of a red/white artifact deck

Deck Help forum

Seems like every time i construct a deck i gravitate twoard the expensive cards. every time. So far ive spent next to nothing but thats because dropping 200 Dollars on a single deck seems a bit outrageous.

For Example, http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/red-racers-burning-tires/

Nearly 200 Dollars(Granted most of them arent out) but the cost isnt feasible for an untested deck.

First post on these forums. sorry for the lack of proper formating. im not sure if this post breaks any rules but if it does let me know, ill fix it right away.Id like to know if anyone has any tips on lowering the cost of decks and if any specific advice for said deck linked above is available id love that too.

Red Racers burning tires - link for the lazy
is this supposed to be a standard deck or casual? (people will give different suggestions depending on the format)
My first suggestion would be replace Chandra with almost anything else because the price is quite high

The problem is, NEVER buy cards at preorder prices. The cards will surely tank in price when the set is released, so if you can at least wait a week, do so.
