idea for a cheap standard combo, but need deck ideas

So I thought of a great idea for a combo that could potentially win a standard game very quickly, Mirror Mockery+Gray Merchant of Asphodel, but i figure for that we would need a very high devotion, does anyone know any good cards for that? Other cards that could be good would be, Merciless Executioner, Sidisi, Undead Vizier

All of this guy's recommendations are really good, except that Sidisi, Undead Vizier would be insanely good in a deck that relies on a combo like that. You could use her to find Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or Mirror Mockery, whichever part of it you're missing. Not to mention the 4/6 deathtouch for 5 basically kills everything in ground combat that's in Standard right now.

Sidisi doesn't get 1-shotted by Roast ... that's pretty relevant, I'd say.

well, you need high devotion cards, and a u/b midrange shell would probably be the best option. run like 4 Hero's Downfall 3-4 Mirror Mockery 4 Gray Merchant of Asphodels, etc. Bile Blight, Murderous Cut, Ultimate Price, Silence the Believers are your options for removal, aside from 4 downfall. Herald of Torment and Master of the Feast for early game pressure. Tasigur, the Golden Fang as a one or 2 of. His ability can be triggered late game with the blue you have. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as a 1-3 of. i like Merciless Executioner, but not really the sidisi. She isn't terrible and gives you some nice abuse of the extra, but it isn't amazing. also, Mirror Mockery combos are very conditional, but the card itself doubles as nice creature removal. Thoughtseize is the best option, but if it is out of budget, use Despise or Duress Your sideboard options include the following and more.Crux of Fate, Drown in Sorrow, Liliana Vess, Mardu Strike Leader, Palace Siege, Pharika's Cure, Phyrexian Revoker, Read the Bones, Whip of Erebos.
the deck should really be Black with a splash of blue for some more sideboard options and Mirror Mockery
