I Need Help Building a Kokusho, the Evening Star Combo Deck (EDH)

I'd appreciate any advice on combos involving Kokusho, the Evening Star, and since I don't typically run a lot of creatures in my decks, could anyone suggest some alternate forms of defense?

Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + 16 mana will can give you 8 triggers from kokusho and kill all your opponents at 40 life.
it's not too hard to get 16 mana in mono black with things like Cabal Coffers and Bubbling Muck
