I need a bomb or two.

Deck Help forum

I'm playing with a U/B Exploit deck. I run a lot of cards like Youthful Scholar, Vulturous Aven, and Grim Haruspex. Its easy to say that I have a lot of draw power in this deck. The main problem at the moment with the deck is that all of the creatures are weak and don't do a lot of damage on their own. I have been thinking about adding a few copys of Descent into Madness seeing as I have a lot of lands and cards in my hand, but might anyone have any other cards that could help me win more with this deck?

Is this a casual, legacy, modern, standard, or vintage build? It might be helpful to start with that because we are not sure what you are trying to go for.

IMO, an exploit deck needs Ruthless Deathfang

What about Desecration Demon, Grafted Wargear, and Grave Pact? Master of the Feast can be a pretty good bomb as well.

My apologies SirFowler. I'm playing casually. A Grave Pact might work though I feel that the three black mana symbols will get in the way at times. I would prefer the Ruthless Deathfang over it just because he is a creature and can be sac if I need to.The Grafted Wargear seems to be another card that would work well. Thank the both of you for your ideas.

The one problem with Ruthless Deathfang is that your opponent could play cards like Leyline of Sanctity to make it so they can't be targeted. Butcher of Malakir could work as well to get past this effect.

If it's U/B I'm sure you've got plenty of sorceries and instants in your graveyard, so why don't you pop in a Runechanter's Pike+Desecration Demon Or what I run sometimes a Trepanation Blade or two and see if they help boost up your weak dudes.
