How do you use Orim's Chant ???

I play white weenie, currently have 2 slots to play with.. I'm scared of emrakul of aeons torn (is this card now a thing of the past?)

I'm also scared of the meta just being combo decks, and competing against new threats as it is always a growing strategy.

I run no anti artifact or enchantment hate aswell... I seem to be in a bit of a pickle, help plsss! XD

Untap, upkeep, they pass priority, you cast it, and short of instant speed stuff, they effectively play a land and pass their turn. I run four in my legacy deck, the kicking it acts as a fog against goblin decks.

As for Emrakul, run Humility . Your creatures won't be much weaker, and their sneak and show deck crumbles most of the time.

I run Disenchant sideboard. It's a handy card.

Swords to Plowshares is a good spot removal if you don't have them yet. Then it's pretty much dealing with True-Name Nemesis which is where Humility comes in handy too.

Oblivion Ring is a good answer to emrakul. You get to put it into play off your opponents Show and Tell and exile their emrakul.

I run 4 Swords to Plowshares .. Isn't Humility a bit slow compared to something like Cataclysm + Ancient Tomb ? Or would they be protecting there life total with spot removal that it's not really relevant as much?

As for merfolks, I play Knights, so that match up should be aight with my life-gain and 1st strikers:P

For goblins, I have these Knight Exemplar with other pump ups, making a total of 10, and have life-gain inbuilt aswell, however, I guess it's safe to say my 3x Soldier of the Pantheon will be useless.. (Do you think it's a bit of a dead card overall for the current format?)

Btw, I've only been in a vintage tourney before, so they are really different, hence why I'm feeling like a giant derp trying to work out things.

@xlaleclx I've learnt the hardway to not trust an O-ring against an Eldrazi, as they most likely will get the extra turn.

The extra turn isn't usually that huge of a deal, O ring also hits Sneak Attack so it has a lot of utility in the matchup

There's also Ashen Rider for the same purpose

yeah true. I agree, it is one hell of a card. HurrDerr, I was looking at it holistically in regards to Emrakul, the Aeons Torn ...

Sorry to point it out, but Emrakul, the Aeons Torn has protection from colored spells. So Ashen Rider and Oblivion Ring do not work. Council's Judgment on the other hand does.

Ashen Rider and Oblivion Ring do work.A spell is anything cast from your hand.Ashen Rider : Enters play, triggered ability goes on the stack, stack resolves, bye bye tentacle monster.Oblivion Ring : Enters play, paragraph 1 triggered ability goes on the stack, paragraph 2 triggered ability goes on the stack, paragraph 1 triggered ability resolves, paragraph 2 triggered ability resolves.
