Ok, guys I really putting this out there! I really want to make this deck as competitive as possible! I can't wait to be able to build this and watch people tremble in terror while sideboarding for game 2! I want blood!

PTE would help you massively. Honor of the Pure can help you dodge Anger of the Gods and put pressure on goyf.

I will point out that no self-respecting Jund player plays Pyroclasm .

No, you're right It's mainly other decks that like it.

You need to know what the biggest decks in the meta are.
Jund is massive at the moment and runs Pyroclasm / Anger of the Gods . If not those then Tarmogoyf .
Burn is always big and won't care how many creatures you have down
Tron is big and will eat you for breakfast with karn and wurmcoil.
Pod will either combo off and insta-win because you have no instant speed removal. Or it will out value you with Voice of Resurgence .
Lastly twin will just combo off because, again, you don't have any instant speed removal.
If you want to build a budget deck you really need to be winning T3 or T4 due to the combo decks out there and tron. It's very hard to build a budget deck that has sufficient, quality removal to handle the mid game of modern. That's just sort of how modern seems to work at the moment.
