I'm building a new deck and have no idea what to play. I only play kitchen table games and don't play by any banlists or anything. The only thing that I wanted to include in this deck is some form of white but I can't seem to come up with any ideas. Can someone help me with some ideas or maybe some decklists?
Nothing too specific. I know I want to try and keep it at two colors unless a really good three color deck comes along.

You're gonna need to help us out here. Do you want to do tribal, life gain, aggro, control, combo, what? We can't do much without knowing where to start.

sirbar I would prefer aggro or control. Or some sort of combination if that's possible.

Well you can go white weenie. Its aggro and pretty cheap, though very expensive versions exist. Basically you will play mono white, with maybe a splash of another color. Your deck should be heavy based in creatures from converted mana cost of 1-4, no higher. Try and keep them closer to the bottom of the curve. Suggested areas to look at cards for this deck are zendikar block for allies and lorwyn block for the kinship mechanic. (can't remember the tribe name for white that they had then but i know its what you are looking for) Use the search tools here to get yourself started with this advice.

Alright, I'll start there and see what I can find. I wanted to ask another question. Basically, a deck build around Nicol Bolas the planeswalker. I really like the card and was wondering if there are any builds the would revolve around it. sirbar

Bolas is hard to build around really. He is so expensive and the three color combo that he is is hard to pull off for kitchen table magic. That being said you could maybe do a five color walkers deck. Basically lots of ramp and some walkers and you have a deck.

I dont know man, could do like, ahhh, errrr, hmmmmm.
Well, you could do a R/U/B Dragonstorm deck that ramps into a Nicol Bolas instead of a dragonstorm if you wanted. It would be pretty awesome actually now that I think about it. Dark Rituals, Cabal Rituals, Rite of Flames, Lotus Petals, andLotus Blooms for ramp, Brainstorm, Ponder, and Preordain to dig those pesky lands away and jack up your storm count. And you can add all those nifty new dragons that came out recently. If you dont hit a Dragonstorm in your hand or digging, youll almost definitely have found a nicol bolas at least, and he can swing games quickly if your dropping him on turn 3, which should be very easy.

I can do that probably. I was about to sit down to play some SPAZ for a bit though, so I dont know if Ill get around to it tonight, as its midnight where I am.

If you want Bolas, why not build a Grixis Control deck around Bolas and Cruel Ultimatum? And 3-Colour Mana Bases are not that hard to get for Kitchen Table. Start off with Crumbling Necropolis. Add a few basics, and, depending on Budget fill up with any given mix of Bloodfell Caves, Blackcleave Cliffs, Temple of Malice Sulfurous Springs Dragonskull Summit and Graven Cairns or Blood Crypt and their respective counter parts in UB and UR.
I know, building a mana Base off 4x Crumbling Necropolis, 3x Bloodfell Caves, 3x Dismal Backwater, 3x Swiftwater Cliffs, 2x Shivan Reef, 2x Underground River, 2x Sulfurous Springs, 2x Island, 2x Swamp and 1x Mountain isn't that exciting, but it suffices for Kitchen Tabel and you can get it for somewhere around 10 Euros. As I said, these bases are far from optimal, but for my casual decks, I never go deep with the cash. Yes, they're slow and unreliant at times, but oh well.

RoarMaster I'm under no sort of time restrictions, I'm just looking for something new to play. So if you wanted to refine that in any way and get back to me on it, it would be much appreciated. But it looks good as it is.
