First Deck Help-MB Female Discard

Hi there,
Attempting to put together my first deck. Just getting into MTG, have played with some friends' cards and figure it's time for me to dive in. I'm going for a mono-black discard deck with female only characters...I'm really not sure if these cards work that great with each other, especially in the ratios I have them at....would appreciate some suggestions!
P.S. Guess I'm willing to compromise on the female-only angle...if the characters are sexually-ambiguous or are men in dying/inured-type situations!
Are the Ravenous Rats female as well? There can be a female only discard deck.
Here it is:
22 Swamp
4 The Rack, 4 Liliana's Caress, 3 Disciple of Phenax, 2 Sangromancer, 3 Blackmail, 3 Duress (art with the elf), 3 Thoughtseize (from lorwyn), 3 Nightshade Assassin, 3 Graveborn Muse, 4 Sign in Blood, 4 Doom Blade, 2 Murderous Cut
Adding any Liliana of the Veil to the mix will help a lot.

Rkassen718 Hey, thanks for the comments! You're right, Bump in the Night should go, my thinking was that I already had a couple of those so I thought I'd throw them in there. Funny you should mention it, just picked up a few of the M15 Stab Wounds, so I'll definitely be throwing them in there. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Boza Thanks for the suggestions, for my purposes we'll just say the rats are female haha. Could I ask your rationale behind Graveborn Muse?

It is a female (though ghosts are dubious). It is a Phyrexian Arena on legs. Nuff said.
But really, you want to be able to create advantages, since just discarding stuff will not get you anywhere and will tend to be not impactful to the overall game state.

So let me start by saying great idea. I love the female discard idea. Second, please explain your choice of bump in the night. I know its a black mana to cast. The flashback cost is red though. Only using the ability once is not enough. You could play something like, Stab wound. It's a 3cmc enchantment,giving target creature -2/-2 at beginning of the upkeep of enchanted creature's controller, that player loses 2 life. M15 art work is female. Just a thought. Also Liliana Vess planes walker. Great for discard decks. Run up to two. As she is 5cmc. Or even night terrors a 3cmc card,good for hand disruption, you choose a non land card from opponents hand and exile it.. again just thought. I do love the way you have this going though...
