Budget alternative to Genesis Chamber?

New to MTG here and building my first deck. I want something that creates tokens the same way Genesis Chamber does, but I don't care what kind of tokens they are, they don't need to be Myr tokens. Genesis Chamber is a little pricey, I guess because I've seen decks that do some pretty mean things with it that I don't really intend to do. Is there anything cheap that creates 1/1 tokens every time a creature enters the battlefield?

Wizards' gatherer page is a powerful tool for finding information similar to what you're looking for. Unfortunately, there aren't really any cards that do it as efficiently (free) as Genesis Chamber without a more contrived board-state.

smackjack Spirit Bombs is pretty close, but it just doesn't cut it for what I'm trying to do because the real bonus of Genesis Chamber for me is giving my opponent tokens (and then killing them with Illness in the Ranks). I also would really like to not pay for the tokens, but as the.beanpole says, I guess there really isn't an alternative. Oh well, the cards that are really driving up the price of my deck are Forbidden Orchard and, if I can make room for it, Path to Exile. Also, thanks a ton the.beanpole that tool will be incredibly useful for me. I could've used it a few days ago when I spent like two hours manually looking for Scoured Barrens

2.50$? Seems pretty cheap already, but I guess that is relative. If you are just trying to make tokens for your opponent, maybe look into the "Hunted" cycle of creatures. Hunted Phantasm, ect ect.

RoarMaster $2.50 isn't killer but I never want to spend more than I have to and I thought there might be something cheaper than Genesis Chamber. Those Hunted Cards look pretty awesome, but my deck is black and white, and Hunted Horror is expensive and Hunted Lammasu isn't really worth it for me, generating only one token. I might look into making a different deck around those cards in the future, though.

If giving opponents tokens is your goal, Suture Priest fits well with that playstyle, as does Mercy Killing

I made a deck like this that only used 1/1 tokens and Illness in the Ranks, along with Blood Artist and similar. is that what you're going for?

Kala Illness in the Ranks is another card I have, not Blood Artistthough. It's sort of like a weaker Falkenrath Noble, great for my maybeboard.
