Abilities on this creature may only be activated when a song is not playing
and Tap "You must yell "SAXOPHONE" at the top of your lungs and find a song featuring Saxophone and play it. You may only have one song on at a time. You may put a song counter on Urza's Jazz Band and search your library for a silver-bordered card with converted mana cost of X where X is the number of song counters on Urza's Jazz Band."

I get that this is for an un- set, but i'm fairly confident that you can't use a novel for a magic card. Also, 99% of songs ever feature a rhythm section, so you may want to change that to either Drums, or "predominantly feature".
I mean, the card's quite funny, just needs to be cleaned up a bit. Love that it has banding. Would combo nicely with Clam Session.

What about this?

Urza's Jazz Band doesn't untap under any effect except its ability
and Tap: Select a musical instrument. You must yell the name of said instrument at the top of your lungs and play a song featuring that instrument from YouTube. This interrupts other effects of this nature. As soon as that song finishes you may put a song counter on Urza's Jazz Band. Search your library for a permenant with CMC equel to the number of song counters on Urza's Jazz Band. Untap Urza's Jazz Band after you do this.

Also ThatBlueMage, Linus and Lucy is all rhythm depending on the arrangment. I know most songs do not, admittedly, but there are many pop culture ones that do. :)

Well now this card is ban-worthy because I'll just search up something like Free bird every turn and force the game into a draw.
Here's how I would put this one:
Urza's Jazz Band -
Legendary Creature - Band
Banding, Flying, Lifelink, Haste, Trample
: Choose a Musical instrument. Search your music library for a song featuring that instrument and put it on to play, then shuffle your music library. You may put a song counter on Urza's Jazz Band. If you do, search your library for a silver border card with Converted Mana Cost equal to the number of Song Counters on Urza's Jazz Band and put it into play, then shuffle your library. Activate this ability as a sorcery.
This way, you have to not only construct your deck, but also, say, your iPod.

Each player attacks during each other player's attack step. everyone must declare attackers and blockers at the same time. Any player may pay life equal to the total power of all creatures each opponent controls to destroy this card. Hexproof
This would make a VERY interesting game :)
