Persistent Avengers

Creature - Avengers

When you lose the game, {CARDNAME} remains on the battlefield as a 9/9 flying, first striking, trampling beatstick that you can bash people in the face with when you otherwise would have taken your turn.

i've got nothing against people brewing ideas for custom cards, but this is just a troll card.

See my post on one of your other threads.

This is not a good card for a number of reasons. The language, for starters, is not in-line with other Magic cards. The effect goes against the fundamental idea that, if you lose the game, you're out. The biggest problem of this card is it effectively reads "if you would lose the game, instead you lose the game and get to inflict misery on the person who caused your loss." This is a card designed specifically for sore losers in multiplayer, and that's just bad design.

Nah multiplayer is political. This is a political card. "Go ahead and kill me. I'm waiting..."

You're right on the wording. I was tired. I'm usually more precise than that.

Point taken about posting as a single post.

It may be a “political card” but that does not mean it should exist. I stand by my position that this is a card designed to reward sore losers.

You might be dismissive of the wording issues, but that’s an insurmountable problem. Your rules text is going to have to modify myriad existing rules, ranging from the rules dealing with loss in multiplayer, to what the steps and phases are (you’d have to specify the player who lost gets a combat phase, with all that entails), to whether the dead player would be a valid target for cards like Diabolic Edict . etc.

It’s a poorly designed card. You would be better off with something that has a Worship effect, then is sacrificed and creates a token when you have 1 health.
