So... building a Reaper King commander deck that isn't necessarily a Changeling or a Scarecrow tribal deck... but more based off of cycles... there's the Blade cycle from Alara Reborn... running some Scarecrows like the Skulkin and the Mix-Match cycles... so... I was just wondering what cycles this thread can make... maybe some interesting additions to the cycles, heck, maybe even add colorless to existing cycles on here... (The Eldrazi and the lifeless artifacts have feelings too y'know...)... So I'm just interested in what this thread can make...

I'm a little confused by what it is you're trying to accomplish.

Is the Reaper King deck just background info? Is there any general rule or target we're supposed to adhere to?

Salt Plains , Salt Pools , Salt Marsh , Salt Hill , Salt Forest

Land

ETBs tapped

: Add (color) to your mana pool.

: Put a salt counter on ~. Activate this ability only if your opponent controls more permanents than you.

Remove X salt counters from ~ : Exile up to X target spells and/or permanents.

Salt Marsh exists. There's also Salt Flats.

Not to mention how utterly broken the exile effect is.

Maybe it'd be better as

: Put a salt counter on target nonland permanent. Activate only if opponent controls more stuff.

, Remove a salt counter from a permanent you control: Exile target permanent with a salt counter on it.

Epochalyptik huh no... just explaining how my Reaper King deck just happened to make me think about cycles... also was bored...

Also it's...

  • Make your own cycles...

  • Add a colorless card to a pre-existing cycle...

Maybe something like...

Aether Processor

Creature - Eldrazi Processor

1/4

Devoid, Ingest

When Aether Processor enters the battlefield, you get (two energy counters).

Whenever Aether Swooper attacks, you may pay . If you do, create a 1/1 colorless Eldrazi Scion creature token. It has "Sacrifice this creature: Add to your mana pool."
