Hell's Caretaker is a great creature, but it is definitely underpowered by today's standards, so I have made a newer version of it, as seen, here:

For the same, albeit slightly stricter, mana cost, this creature has higher power and toughness and less restrictions on its ability.
What does everyone else say about this creature? Do you like it?

phunbabag, I contemplated giving this creature haste, but black rarely ever has that mechanic, so I could instead have it generate a token when it enters the battlefield, to provide one free creature for its ability, or I could make it a demon and give it flying, if that would make it more powerful.

Give that caretaker a nice Thornbite Staff for unlimited reanimation potential during your upkeep.

My first FNM deck was a hell's caretaker kakusho deck so I personally would want to retain the sacrifice part of the card. Maybe give the undertaker haste or the creature returned gets haste and is sacrificed eot. Either way, thanks for giving a fun card a facelift, cool design.
