Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.
Variety XX
Sorcery
If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.
Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Make a payoff for cards changing colors.

Mutagen Vial 3 Artifact
Whenever a creature adds or changes a color choose all that apply:
Black - That creature gains deathtouch until end of turn.
Blue - That creature gains flying until end of turn.
Green - That creature gains Trample until end of turn.
Red - That creature gains first strike until end of turn.
White - that creature gains lifelink until end of turn.
Create either shard or wedge colored man-lands.

Whenever a non-Zombie creature you control dies, you may pay . If you do, ~ becomes a 3/3 creature that is still a land until the end of the turn. ~ gains your choice of Reach, Deathtouch, or Flying until the end of the turn.

Choose a card type. Reveal the top five cards of your library. You may choose up to one card of the chosen type and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the botton of your library in random order.
I love filter spells like this. Do a card of a kind that you like.

I like cards that make interesting decisions happen. I like it when the opponent gets a choice about what my card does, because it can have different results every game. Stuff like Fact or Fiction really depends on who's making the choices.

Whenever you or a planeswalker you control are attacked by one or more creatures, reveal the top three cards of your library and then put them back in any order. The attacking player names a card, and then you reveal the top card of your library. If your opponent didn't guess correctly, then you may untap and remove up to three target attacking creatures from combat.
Do another wild card.

Password protection lets you sort the top three cards of your library every time you're attacked. This could be useful for setting up your next turn. But your opponent knows this, so maybe they will pick the best card out of the three. But maybe you know that they know this, so you'll put the worst card on top. But maybe they know you know they know this so they'll pick the worst card out of the three. So maybe you know that, and you put the medium-best card. Etc. You have to predict, and that's what makes it interesting.

Jotnar Ancient can't be blocked except by three or more creatures.

As an additional cost to this spell, pay 10 life.
Target player takes an extra turn after this one. At the beginning of target opponent's next upkeep, that player wins the game.
"I've finally done it! I've found the secret to immortality! Now all I have to do is live long enough to use it!"
Next challenge: Make a card based off of your favorite color. Favorite color in general, not just MTG colors of mana.

If you control 10 or more lands, lands you control gain ": Deal 1 damage to any target."
If you control 15 or more lands, lands you control become copies of target permanent you control until end of turn.

Really not that great of a card, and honestly only would exist for flavor. However, if there's enough cards out there that change the creature type of other player's creatures, I'm sure Johnny could figure out a way for this to be good.
Make a Legendary Wall powerful enough to be legitimately considered to use as a commander, without mentioning dealing damage based on it's toughness or allowing walls or other creatures with defender the ability to attack. But do make it a Wall Lord in some other way (i.e. "walls you control get/gain xyz").

I tried to impart the feel of the way mantises kill their mates and the time counters represent the growth of the offspring, hence the length (number of time counters) equaling the toughness. I guess the dragon just shows through in the size and blue and red mana as mantises are generally green.
Anyway, for the next card, create an octopus that can change color and has an effect depending on what color it is.
