Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.

Variety XX


If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.

Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Enchantment - Aura

Enchanted creature gains defender. At the beginning of its controller's upkeep, they choose one:

  • Put a +1/+1 counter on it.
  • , Remove all counters from enchanted creature: Deal damage to target creature equal to the number of counters removed.

That is cool, top it off with some cool gear you would have while camping.

Dragur Bloodborn

Creature - Zombie Warrior

When Dragur Bloodborn enters the battlefield, do one or both:

  • Discard a card: Dragur Bloodborn enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  • Pay 3 life: Dragur Bloodborn gains haste and deathtouch.


Wildcard or keep up the Nordic / Norse mythology if you enjoy it.

Legendary Land

TAP: Add one mana of a color of your choice to your mana pool. Add two instead if it is used to cast s God creature.

Threshold - Sacrifice ~. Exile all God creatures on the field and in all graveyards. For each player that exiled at least one God this way, search your deck for a God creature and place it onto the battlefield. Exile ~ afterwards.

Continue the theme.

Whenever Iron-Hull Flagship attacks you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.


We've pretty much gone to Valla now so keep making Norse inspired cards. See if you can incorporate transform into some of them.

Axolotl's Form X

Enchantment - Aura

Spend at least 3 different colors of mana when casting Axolotl's Form. If you don't counter it.

Axolotl's Form is the color of each mana spent to cast it.

Totem Armor

Enchanted creature is a lizard in addition to its other types and gets +X+X, were X is each different color of Axolotl's Form. If Axolotl's Form is 5 colors, enchanted creature also gains flying, lifelink, and trample.

Create Axolotl related magic cards. They should care about being multicolored but not which colors they are necessarily.

Legendary Planeswalker - Liliana

{Whenever a creature you control dies, each opponent loses 1 life.}

+X As you activate this loyalty ability, choose X, then sacrifice X creatures you control. Exile those creatures instead of putting them into your graveyard.

-X In any combination of X, add and / or create a number of 2/2 black Zombie creature tokens.


What do you say, want to cycle out these "Unleashed" versions of Planeswalkers? Two abilities, both directly tied into one-another, with a static ability that complements how it works overall.

Remember to have a high / difficult mana cost to offset the raw power of the card.

During your opponents upkeep, they choose either land or nonland. They can only untap the chosen permanents during their turn.

+2: Tap up to 2 permanents, they do not untap until your next turn

-2: You May activate planeswalker ability’s during anytime you can cast an instant until your next turn.

Legendary Planeswalker - Ashiok

Whenever an opponent casts a spell, counter that spell unless they exile either a card in their hand, or the top 3 cards of their deck.

+2: Each opponent exiles the top card of their deck, and looses life equal to its converted mana cost.

-5: You gain an emblem with "You may cast face up exiled cards your opponents control, and may spend mana as if it were any color to do so."

Enchantment - Aura

Enchanted permanent cannot gain or lose counters and if it is a creature, it gains Zombie in addition to its other types.
Enchanted permanent has ", : This permanent loses all abilities until end of turn. Put 2 counters of any kind on it.

They certainly don't look very smart...

Eschew Obfuscation

Enchantment - Aura

~ comes into play attached to a permanent of the controllers choice, when allowed by targeting constraints of the permanent in question's defensive abilities. In the event that the permanent has the creature type, and the type is of species specific nomenclature, it's type remains unchainged, barring that it also gains the type of "Advisor". In the event that the permanent is a creature with a type of class as its type, that class is removed and the afforementioned advisor class shall take precidence. In no event is the color, converted mana cost, or card type to change as a byproduct of this enchantment.

The enchanted permanenet no longer returns to portrait orientation durring phase 1 of its controllers turn, but rather retains its initial position, even if said postion was portrait orientation.


enchanted permanent doesn't untap durring its controllers upkeep. its species remains the same, but becomes an advisor instead of whatever class it had (soldier, warrior, etc).

Hide and seek


Create a sub game of hide and seek, with the time set to the amount of minuets equal to the highest life total minus 10. The winner of that game gains control of all nonland permanents the loser controls.

When ~ becomes tapped to crew a vehicle, untap it. Mice and vehicles you control get +1/+1 for each pair of mouse and vehicle you control.

Horizon Seeker

Creature — Human Scout Wizard

At the beginning of your end step, if you cast two or more spells this turn, you may have Horizon Seeker drift off into the aether. (Exile it transformed harboring a land you control. That land becomes a copy of that card for as long as it's being harbored.)


Mistcloaked Alignment

Enchantment Land

: Add . If this mana is spent to cast an instant or sorcery spell, scry 1.

The "drift off into the aether" mechanic was made so that players could feel that they were peering into their creatures' minds and seeing how they perceive the world!

Please make a card with this mechanic! The first side can be anything, while the second side must be an enchantment land! Hope to see what the next person comes up with ^-^

Lets try to rectify the rules on this one:

Eager Enforcer

First strike
When ~ and at least 2 other creatures attack, you may have ~ deal its damage to target creature an opponent controls.
If you do, ~ drifts off into aether (Exile ~ then return it to the battlefield transformed, then exile a land you control.).


Fighting Academy
Enchantment Land

:Add .
,: Target creature you control gets +1/+1 and first strike until end of turn.

Either continue this drift off into the aether, or make a wildcard.

Speaker to the Winds

Creature - Human Shaman

At the beginning of your end step, if you cast two or more spells this turn, drift Speaker to the Winds. (Exile it, then return it to the battlefield transformed and attached to target land.)

Windawoken Wilds

Enchantment - Aura

Enchant land (Target a land as you cast this. This card enters the battlefield attached to that land.)

Enchanted land is a Forest and Plains.

Whenever enchanted land taps for mana, its controller gains 2 life.

"...the world as I see it."

Hope you don't mind- I altered the verbiage of the effect a little bit. There was a lot going on there, but I think this works a little better.

Half-replacing the land with the 'harbor' would get confusing. It would be as if you had another land down there, but it wasn't a "real" land because it belonged to the enchantment land... I considered "sacrifice a land", but the flavor is supposed to be to "see the land through different eyes", right?

The land becoming a Forest and Plains works like Lush Growth , where the enchanted land loses all abilities. I based the riding effect on Contaminated Ground , so you could potentially put all your eggs in one basket and have one powerful land. I dropped the "you control" bit so maybe a black 'drifter' could slap the equivalent of a Contaminated Ground on top of your Windawoken Wilds.

Next: Wildcard, I suppose.

When Shadow Realm enters the battlefield, stop playing Magic: The Gathering and play a single round of Yu-Gi-Oh. If somehow that game results in a draw, continue to play until there is a distinct winner. Then resume playing Magic: The Gathering. Whomever lost in Yu-Gi-Oh exiles their hand, graveyard, and half of their non-land permanents rounded up of their opponent's choice.

Trailing for miles behind it and spanning a circumference as wide as an elephant, these gentle behemoths hunt silently. You'd never know it even had approached.


Jellyfish Tribal has always been a long distant dream of mine. In real life, I absolutely love these beautiful creatures. <3

did a bit of research into jellyfish for this one, apparently both "Hydra" and "Gorgon" are used for root words in them. I made a hydra jellyfish, so make a gorgon jellyfish!

Defender, Indestructible, Deathtouch.

When ~ is dealt damage put that many +1/+1 counters on it. ~ Name then loses defender until the end of your next turn.

If ~ would be put into the graveyard from the battlefield, target opponent puts the top X cards from the top of their library into their graveyard where X is the amount of +1/+1 counters on ~. Then return name to your deck 3 cards from the top.

Spellswallower Wobbegong enters the battlefield with X pressure counters, where X is the number of instants and sorceries in your graveyard.

Whenever an opponent casts a noncreature spell, you may remove three pressure counters from Spellswallower Wobbegong. If you do, exile that spell.

When Spellswallower Wobbegong leaves the battlefield, each opponent may copy up to four instant and sorceries exiled with Spellswallower Wobbegong. If they do, for each instant and sorcery cast this way, put the top 2 cards of your library into your graveyard.
