Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.

Variety XX

Sorcery

If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.

Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

+2 Until your next turn, every spell costs more to cast for each other spell cast this turn and lands that would tap for 2 or more mana instead tap for

-2Choose a basic land type. Until your next turn, lands of the chosen type tap for instead of any type or colour. Mana produced this way does not count as mana produced by a snow permanent.

-6You get an emblem with "every time a creature attacks, that creature gets -x/-0, where x is that creature's power. Whenever a player would draw a card except for the first card that that player draws every time, that player sacrifices a land. If they cannot sacrifice a land, that player loses the game instead. If a creature would enter the battlefield, it travels to exile instead and that player's controller discards a card. Whenever a player casts a noncreature spell, if they have already cast a noncreature spell this turn, all permanents and players gain hexproof from that spell until end of turn.

Well that was fun. GL to wizards with printing this all in a card. I hope the person who gave me the prompt understands the sort of joke with the + ability, or the reference more like. This planeswalker could see sideboard play except that the deck it fits easiest in is tron, so they wouold have to cast everything before they activated its +1. Breaks open the mirror though.

What have I done! I didn't want to make it too obviously rhystic, but I have created a brute of a commander. I just have no idea where you would go with this commander, but If you were playing rhystic boyos this would be a deece commander. Is it actually WUBRG, or do I just not understand the mess that is col9our identity?

fatalzintomyum yes, color identity is determined by the mana symbols in its rules text as well as the symbols in its cost.

Make a creature that would belong in a Mercadian Masques cycle, other than the rhystic cards.

At the beginning of each end step, if the active player played a land, cast a creature spell, cast a non-creature spell, and attacked with a creature, then that player's life total can't change and that player can't lose the game until the beginning of their next turn.


Glittering Glitter

Enchantment Creature

Glittering Glitter isn't a creature if any opponent controls no tapped lands.

Prevent all damage that would be dealt to Glittering Glitter.

: Until end of turn, Glittering Glitter loses "Prevent all damage that would be dealt to Glittering Lion." Any player may activate this ability.

kpres I can't tell if the 2 between the name and the mana cost is part of the mana cost, or if the name of the spell is "Shahrazad 2," since Shahrazad is already a thing...

Not necessarily linked to Fateseal specifically, I envision the Insidious subtype to be spells that have their initial effect be a distraction to hide recognizance tactics. In this case, it's a riot which distracts the enemy, while you sabotage their spellbook. Much flavor, I think.

So the Insidious spell has it's initial effect, then a secondary effect for each time you cast an Insidious spell until your next turn. Only for instants and sorceries, like Arcane. I think it's a neat idea anyway.

Just to make me feel better about it, make another Insidious spell. Preferably an instant.

Up to 3 target creatures get -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the number of insidious cards in your graveyard

until your next upkeep, whenever you cast an ensidious spell, you may exile up to 3 target cards from any one graveyard.


Almost a boardwipe, and if you stack 2 of them or simply have enough insidious cards you can kill and Uro and make sure he never comes back.


You know, insidious cards seems to, so far, have effects for other insidious cards being cast afterward.Both of these cards have been pretty expensive, so create an insidious card that you could cast afterward without too much mana investment.

Probably would have been better templated as a Saga, but the challenge was to use level up. It's a Christmas card.

Make a card that represents a Christmas card. You know, the kind you would get in the mail.

Epicurus, Shahrazad 2 has "2" in the name because Shahrazad already exists. I see how it can be confused with . In the actual Arabian Nights story of Shahrazad, the (princess?) character is taken captive by a bad dude and he's going to kill her, but she makes a deal with him that if she tells a good story, he won't kill her. Every night, he comes to kill her, but she tells a new story and lives. In the card design of Shahrazad 2, the "story-telling" is represented by doing a bunch of stuff, and the reward is becoming invincible for a turn.

Should it have had an equip cost of 4 total mana? Idk. I could personally see it going either way, but I wanted to make a relatively playable/efficient equipment, and most equipment nowadays have ways to pseudo-circumvent equip cost anyway, whereas this one doesn't; given this, I think I'm justified in costing it the way I have.

Create a (somewhat) big blue creature (p/t minimum of 4/4) that neither flies nor swims. A land creature. Also, please make it fun but not insane :)

As ~ is cast, it becomes a copy of the last spell cast before it this turn. (You may choose new targets for it.)


I usually don't love creating storm cards, but this one was pretty fun and unique. I hope it isn't unrecoverably broken...

Destined 3 - _(If this is in your opening hand, you may exile it with three time counters on it and it gains Suspend (At the beginning of your upkeep, if this card is suspended, remove a time counter from it. When the last time counter is removed, cast it.))


I had to throw Destined on there because it's such a cool ability.

How this works is when you cast it, you have to choose a creature for it to target because it's an aura spell. (I'm not sure rules-wise if you can cast it without a target.) When the attached creature dies, it falls off and becomes an equipment, similar to the Bestow gimmick. While it's attached to a creature, it's both an aura and an equipment and is subject to the rules of both subtypes.

Create a new changeling card, but make it non-creature.

When I started playing Standard, I started with Innistrad (I learned and got into it with the Dragons vs. Knights Duel deck, but didn't play a real format until the fall), and My deck was a white weenie, centered around Thalia, Guardian of Thraben (she came along later, but I have to mention her, she's so great!!), Elite Vanguard, Doomed Traveler, Selfless Cathar, Elite Inquisitor, Unruly Mob, Mentor of the Meek, Fiend Hunter, and topped by Angelic Overseer.

But the centerpieces of the deck were Champion of the Parish and Mikaeus, the Lunarch, who inspired this:

So, 1 mana gets you a 1/1, 3 gets you a 2/2 and a 1/1, 5 gets you 1/1 2/2, and 2/2 ( or however you'd like it), and 7 mana can get you 3 1/1s and a 4/4 human, so very flexible and always getting you P/T equal to your investment.

I should probably give the card a more Mythic-sounding name, though.
