Can we have an Anti-Graveyard-Hate card?

Let's have a cheap CMC artifact that states:

You may choose not to untap "artifact name" during your untap step.

Tap: Exile all cards in your graveyard. If "artifact name" untaps or leaves the battlefield put all cards exiled this way into their owner's graveyard.

This card would work similar to Gravegouger in terms of protecting cards in your graveyard.

Like that?

@MagicalHacker, yes, like that. Thoughts?

We already have an anti-graveyard-hate card. Counterspell :P

But nah, that wouldn't work on Bojuka Bog. Disallow will though.

In seriousness though it'd be nice I guess, but it wouldn't really work against stuff like Grafdigger's Cage or Yixlid Jailer.

What would stop Rest in Peace?

Theoretically you could activate our hypothetical Artifact in response to hold your stuff in exile until you could remove Rest in Peace. But that's not exactly promising.

I honestly would be okay with that, since there has to be a draw back when facing effects like those. I run a few graveyard decks where spells like Rest in Peace is a death sentence. Of course I have ways to remove the enchantment, but removing it won't bring my cards back without this. It's mainly to help against one time effects like Morningtide, Tormod's Crypt, Nihil Spellbomb, Bojuka Bog, Relic of Progenitus, etc.

Maybe there should be an artifact that costs 5 mana that states: "If a card would be exiled from your graveyard, return that card to the top of your library instead." I feel like it might be a little too pushed, but ya know :p

What about "Whenever a card is exiled from anywhere, put it on the bottom of its owner's library."?

That sounds like it's better xD I was thinking about it and how absolutely broken that'd be :D
