I saw the art, and I fell in love with it immediately.

I would spend time describing the uses of this card, but there's no need for that because it's pretty straightfoward. Just note that this card is supposed to be on the powerful side of things, so comment accordingly.

Thanks for looking!!

I'd say broken, but that just might be me. Whenever you're repeatedly able to use the second ability, you can just exile the useless cards from your hand to dig for a combo piece/something that's going to win you the game.

Oops, I read that incorrectly. But, still....

Hm, true MasterThief. Maybe make it more expensive, or exile the top two cards to draw?

March 29, 2015 8:01 p.m.

Yawgmoth's Will (with an even more negligible cost) for 2 mana? This is well beyond "on the powerful side of things" and is probably more broken than Ancestral Recall; certainly more broken than Necropotence. When designing cards, that is not a goal to strive for.

I'd atleast require one blue mana to activate each of those abilities to help cut down on the number of times someone could activate those abilities.

Yeah, you need to do something with the second ability to keep it from just milling through your deck. Otherwise, its a combo player's dream. Either a mana cost along with it, or a tap cost, or something. Other than that, I feel like the card is reasonable, although still extremely powerful. I would play it in any deck with .

LightAndDarkness How is this Yawgmoth's Will??? It's definitely powerful, but I don't think entirely broken. Though I will make them activation costs MasterThief, great idea.

Lets see. I can splash blue for this in any format it's legal in, and it's more degenerate than Necropotence or Skullclamp for drawing cards? Sounds like a perfect idea...

Just add a cost of to every activation and it will become immensely more balanced. Also making the casting cost would help.

Laboratory Maniac

You win instantly on turn three with how it is currently then. For two mana to have so much versatility, we are looking at another Deathrite Shaman for being cheap and so much use, unsure if that's such a good thing, though.

Alright, activation cost definitely needed :) Here's the new card. I additionally made the countering harder to do, since that was also pretty sweet.

Bye Bye flavor text :(

You don't use Magic Set Editor? With the way it positions the text more official you can fit a bit more onto it without it looking bad. Oh also this card reminded me of Thought Lash but I couldnt remember the name earlier

KalvinHobbez Nope. Computer has a problem with downloads :(

I'd immediately shove this into every EDH deck I own. Hell, I'd run this as my fucking commander if I could. The combination of scrying and drawing ensures mass advantage and dig.

TheDevicer The new version or the old one?

the original was 2 good, its good u changed it. Laboratory Maniac much?

March 30, 2015 7:37 p.m.

The new version is more balenced, however, I would ban it in legacy because High Tide would break the [Insert Word Here] out of it. But who knows, High Tide isn't very powerful anymore.
