So when we first saw the Primal Death, I was kind of excited by the Prey counters and was hoping more of the dinosaurs would use them as some kind of sub mechanic. Sadly that didn't happen...so have some wish fufillment dinosaurs.

These are quite fun, and I think each shows a clever, colour-appropriate use of prey counters.

I was also quite disappointed with the Elder Dinosaur line. Tetzimoc, Primal Death was a fascinating and unique card, and I was quite excited once it was spoiled. Ultimately, however, the White/Red/Blue Elder Dinosaurs felt a lot like they were Dragons, not Dinosaurs, which I found a bit problematic. The Green one, on the other hand, felt like it was a Dinosaur, but is an incredibly boring card.

White needs a flavor adjustment. Prey counters shouldn't make something indestructible.

Maybe create a raptor token for each creature with a prey counter? That would highlight the flavor of them being hunted.

Or, if you wanted to stick with Primal Dawn, you could channel Blinding Beam flavor and sleep all creatures with prey counters on ETB.

Could even go the Humility route and strip those creatures of abilities and/or make them 1/1s

See, Epochalyptik, my thoughts was the white dinosaur would be some kind of big ass herbavore who protects the other herbavores who would normally be prey from carnivores.

As you may of guessed, much of my dino knowledge comes from kids movies :P

My thought was. The white one protects the herd. The red one causes a stampede of its prey. The green one is so much mightier than its prey. And the blue one is a mystery, inconcivable to its prey therefore cannot be effected by them.

I like what you did there. I also do like the real elder dinos, though i really had hoped the red would be somthing like this:

Etali, the primal pack 2RRR

Legendary creature - elder dinosaur

Haste, trample

When ~ enters the battlefield, create two 2/1 red dinosaur creature tokens with haste and trample.

2/1

Hopes were too high i guess.
