Who is the Best Commander for??????

Reanimator.
I want to reanimate things in both my own graveyard and out of others.
So far I am leaning towards
I am really hoping for a Tri-Color Demon that interacts with reanimator.
What do you guys think?
There is also Karador, Ghost Chieftain and The Mimeoplasm who also do reanimator, but in very different ways.

I am a big fan of Demons and Dragons so I would like to find a B/R-X Legendary perhaps Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. I like the silly combos Mono-Black is an option though, Demon Tribal with Sheoldred, Whispering One

Tariel is an option if you don't intend on relying 100% on him. RBW has tons of options in reanimation spells in B/W anyways and Red has "loot" so i dont see why not. Brew it up

As said before, the best two options are Karador, Ghost Chieftain and The Mimeoplasm. Other options exist though. Teneb, the Harvester, Sharuum the Hegemon, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, Scion of the Ur-Dragon, etc. Your general doesn't have to reanimate for you to have him lead your troops.

Be careful with Tariel. It's very difficult to make a Commander that has the phrase 'at random' in it's rule-text particularly good.

Good is so subjective, for me as long as silly things can happen it is a good commander, In my book chance makes it better Rhys the Redeemed is a consistent power house and it is not fun in my world. "at random" means lols

Personally, Teneb, the Harvester is my favorite. He's got the color access so you can run many other reanimatiors like Karador, Ghost Chieftain, Genesis, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Debtors' Knell, etc

Marchesa, the Black Rose? You'll have access to all the big stompy demons, loot, blink effects, and undying.

For Marchesa, the Black Rose, you will need to have some form of token manipulation. I would recommend Chainbreaker and Leech Bonder. Shambling Swarm and Blowfly Infestation are nice tricks. Cauldron of Souls is also an interesting response to board wipes, especially when you have the manipulation cards.
If you are interested in the infect or wither route, Contagion Engine is always a staple along with Contagion Clasp, Core Prowler, Corpse Cur, and Corrosive Mentor. Anything with proliferate is helpful.

Which Ob Nixilis would be the most flavorful but still good general in mono black demon tribal? I'm thinking unshackled

I'd go with unshackled. You could run lots of spot removal, and forced sacrifice effects to pump him up.

@Warmonger Have you even read Marchesa, the Black Rose? You are aware -x/-x counters and +x/+x counters remove each other on a one for one basis aren't you?

Marchesa, the Black Rose you would need something like Unspeakable Symbol to put +1/+1 counters on your guys and then Whip of Erebos to gain the life back or if you dont care about losing the life thats fine too.

I know it is a bit late on the response, but you mentioned stealing from other GY's and it made me think of one of my favorite black general. Chainer, Dementia Master Not exactly a reanimtor, but similar effect and very powerful on the field. Of course protecting him can be difficult, but I have also found him to be great for interrupting other decks from playing out of the GY.

I personally think Mikaeus, the Unhallowed is the best commander for reanimation.
With a little sacrifice outlet, a Retribution of the Ancients, and a Kokusho, the Evening Star on the field with mikaeus, you could practically (if not entirely) kill all opponents in the game. It's my favorite combo :)

There's the obvious
Karador, Ghost Chieftain, I've seen a lot of people use the deck like a giant "toolbox" deck. pretty much a Birthing Pod style deal.
The Mimeoplasm if control if your thing, you can run him with a grip full of counter magic and whatnot to simply steal creatures from other people while having a few bombs yourself.
