What if...?

What if the Bringer cycle had been legendary?

Myself and three friends are going to find out in this week's match of our League. I am tied for last with my current rival. With the other two 3 points ahead. I was stuck with the Bringer of the Red Dawn.

As this is the ninth game, I am suffering deckbuilders fatigue. I am lacking inspiration for this deck. Maybe Aggravated Assaults, Threatens and Goblin Bombardments(free sacrifice outlets). What would you do with Bringer of the Red Dawn as your commander?

The two players tied for First have Bringer of the Green Dawn and Bringer of the White Dawn.

My rival has Bringer of the Blue Dawn. He is a Nekusar Main, so I assume he will go that route. With heavy emphasis on mass discard.

Bringer of the Black Dawn was left out for obvious reasons.

I contribute the weirdest and most abusive thing I have to offer: use him as a wincon in control. Why have your own creatures if you can steal other players'? I would use it in a deck something like this:

I feel like Bringer of the Black Dawn is just an over costed Maralen of the Mornsong, but I understand why you left it out.

Tbh in terms of commander decks, they just don't seem that interesting for helms of the decks other than the fact that they have alternative costs similar to Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. They'd be really underwhelming if you couldn't have multiples tbh.

Thanks for the deck submission. That is eerily similar to the deck my rival will probably play.

Consider running some sacrifice outlets--Fling, Ashnod's Altar, Brion Stoutarm, etc. are all pretty decent if you're going to be taking others' cards.

Marchesa, the Black Rose is another solid card to consider--temporary custody is nice, but she's a great way to ensure you have sole custody of your opponents' critters.

Thanks for the Marchesa idea. That will be the theme. Threaten effects and Conjurer's Closet and Cloudshift and BlackRose.

Conjures closet and cloudshift return the creature to ITS OWNER’s control. Ie they give it back. Not quite what you’re after.

Edit: Nope, I need to RTFC
