Two of Same Commander

So, if you go to Gatherer, and look at any of the Partner Commanders, nowhere does it actually say, on the oracle text or the card itself, that you can't have two Partner commanders which are the same card. This seems like it could be extremely useful, like having not one but 2 Tymnas, or 2 Vial Smashers.

It's entirely possible that at some point some authority explicitly stated you can't, but nowhere have I actually seen it documented. It seems like an "unwritten rule".

Even on the MTG wiki page for Partner, if you look carefully, nowhere does it explicitly say anything suggesting that you cannot.

What do you think? (NEVER MIND ACTUALLY, question answered)

Rule 3: A Commander deck must contain exactly 100 cards, including the commander. If you’re playing a companion, it must adhere to color identity and singleton rules. While it is not part of the deck, it is effectively a 101st card.

So the commander/s must also adhere to being singleton

Ok, that proves it. I guess my crazy idea doesn't work. Thanks.

At least on the bright side, if it did work, it wouldn't be completely game-breaking if just the commander were unaffected by the singleton rule.
