Tell me, does this line work?

I've been working heavily on a Sisay, Weatherlight Captain + Jegantha, the Wellspring combos.

The most popular is as follows: Activate Sisay getting Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, then untapping Jegantha, activating Sisay getting Samut, Voice of Dissent, then using her to untap Jegantha, getting Najeela, the Blade-Blossom. Najeela can attack with Derevi, and if any of them or the warrior token Najeela connects, Derevi untaps Jegantha, giving you an extra combat, this goes infinite really quickly.

It does require an extra white mana, to be pre-combat, and none of the combo pieces can be blocked or killed in combat, but if it works, it's super powerful.

I've been designing tons of other variations, and shortened one line down about as far as I currently can. The line is 6 cards, and fully mana inclusive. It's not as efficient, and I am not fully sure it works how I want, so I want all of your input.

The start is similar. We use a few cards to untap Jegantha, and then combo off. The first card we get, since Sisay with Jegantha is at 4 power, and can only fetch 3 or less is Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner, which gives 1 power to Sisay, and untaps Jegantha, which lets us get Aminatou, the Fateshifter, this gives Sisay 2 power, flickers Kiora, untapping Jegantha, activating Sisay, getting either Sarkhan Vol, or Gideon, Martial Paragon, for this demonstration, I will use Gideon, since it is easier, and works the same overall.

Using Gideon, untap Jegantha and give Sisay one more power. Activating her using Jegantha will let you get Chromatic Orrery (why we needed the +1 power), tapping it lets you activate Sisay, getting Oath of Teferi, which can flicker any land, and gives us another activation on all of our walkers.

This is the premise of our combo, play walkers that untap Jegantha, and Oath of Teferi to get multiple pieces. Reusing those walkers for the win is the most compact way.

We now use Gideon to untap Jegantha, get The Chain Veil (Our 6th card), then activate Kiora to untap Orrery, activating The Chain Veil, giving us 3 activations on all our walkers (Floating 1 Mana). We activate Kiora again to untap Orrery, floating 6 mana. Activate Aminatou (down to 1) to flicker Kiora, with 3 activations left. Untap Chromatic Orrery once (10 mana) and untap + activate The Chain Veil 2 times, giving us 5 activations on each walker. Spend these on Kiora to untap both the Veil and the Orrery and activate them both (3 mana left). now spend the last activation untapping Orrery (8 mana) with 6 activations, only two on Aminatou used, you can plus and minus Aminatou to flicker Kiora, and use 6 untaps to get 3 more Orrery and Veil untaps.

This loop gets you infinite planeswalker triggers, untaps, and flickers, as well as floating 3 mana per loop. Using your infinite triggers to flicker Sisay over and over, triggering Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner's draw trigger will let you draw your deck, and with all of that, and the fact you can Gideon, Martial Paragon Ultimate and plus infinitely should win you the game. You can play the rest of your deck, and win in any number of ways.

Does this work how I think it does?

All of the in-deck pieces: Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Gideon, Martial Paragon, Chromatic Orrery, Oath of Teferi, and The Chain Veil

I'll be completely honest: I have no idea if this works or not. The madness you've created here is worth it no matter what, though.

Keep up the combo making, it makes me smile to see crazy Rube Goldburg-esque combos like these!

Yeah this works... takes some work to set up... 2 cards but one is commander and one is companion, 8 mana total + jegantha surviving a full round around the board to get the machine rolling and you can't have drawn any of the "fetched" combo components. I think the fail rate on this is pretty high, but it works.
Cool combo.

DuTogira Actually, 11 mana, 3 to put Jegantha in hand ;-;

To be fair, you can cast Aminatou, the Fateshifter as is with Jegantha if you draw it, and probably a bunch else with your excess mana if it happens that you draw them, and none of the pieces are any worse cast from hand than from library. Just annoying as you could tutor them, so they are a dead draw, but not hurting to draw them.

Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder actually function as reasonable extras if you lose Jegantha, and cards like Hall of the Bandit Lord/Lightning Greaves can help.

I mean, if you're concerned about the fragility of using Najeela to combo off, you could always go:

The line does require a non-legendary, however you can shortcut it if you have resto in hand already (since you don't need to get Vannifar).

It's worth mentioning htat this line does need you run Jegantha as one of the 99, rather than as a companion. However thanks to the comapion rules change, I don't think this is an issue as otherwise you would be paying 8 mana for him anyway (across the 3 to hand and then casting cost).

Honestly both of these combo lines work and would be hilarious to see at an actually table

Sadly enpc and Metachemist, this line doesn't work because Jegantha as companion requires you to run cards with only one of a mana color per card, so you can't run Kiki! I do like the idea though, Samut->Vannifar is a powerful idea!

I'm sure a Godo/Helm line, because it's fetchable, would actual be a compact combo-contender.

Any thoughts on him?

Wait, I think I wasn't clear Synergy I meant both of your lines work. Can't claim I caught the Kiki issue but that's not the ones I meant to comment on line-wise

Also as for Godo, maybe? You'd only need to push Sisay up to a 7 to be able to pull off the fetch, so maybe run that and helm as a back up win con if you get hand disrupted/Jester capped?

SynergyBuild: While you can't take advantage of Jegantha as a companion, you can still run it in the 99. While this adds a bit of complexity in that you have you fetch Jegantha, you also gain the bonus that you can EoT Jegantha rather than having to first pay to put it into hand and then hard cast it.

And if you're running Sisay as your commander, you hsould probably be running Radha, Heir to Keld in the list (which will be one of your first goto cards) and almost gets sisay to 5 power by herself.
