Should I run Oracle of Mul Daya without shuffle-your-library-effects?

One of my EDH-decks run no tutors, fetchlands or shuffle-effects at all, instead using dorks, Burgeoning, Carpet of Flowers, Exploration and similar effects to ramp - less shuffling and searching and more time for play. Is Oracle of Mul Daya worth an inclusion from a ramp-only perspective, or is the combination with shuffle-your-library-effects what makes the card powerful?

Oracle of Mul Daya is one of those great ramp cards because she generates card advantage as she goes. I'd say that she is very worthy of inclusion, especially if you can get her out on turn 2-3 consistently.

Regardless of if you have shuffle effects or not, she is worth it. Shuffle effects and fetch lands can help speed up the process for you, but are not a requirement, especially if you can ramp your heavy hitters out with ease. If by turn 5 or 6 you have 8 to 12 mana by the combination or land and/or non/land permanents, your ahead of the game. Personally, I wouldn't advise too many mana dorks in your deck because of the numerous wrath effects that are played in EDH.

I have 2 Oracle of Mul Daya's and I got them both for $9.93 on Ebay. It is currently $9.00 + $1.50 S&H on Ebay & $10.78 + 0.99 S&H on TCGplayer.

Thanks, but I already ordered from ChannelFireball. Now I only need to figure out what to cut from my list. Thanks for the advice, guys :)

Reveal the top card of your library.
Top card is a land so you play it.

You've just drawn 2 cards and ramped in the same turn due to one 4 mana card. Yes she's worth it.
