Narset as a Voltron Commander?

We got Narset, Enlightened Master last night, and I think she may have something going for her. She's no Sigarda, Host of Herons , but still somewhat strong. Thoughts?
Her biggest weakness is that she's a 6-drop commander outside of green. You'll have to have your artifacts ready to go rather quickly. She doesn't tutor either, but the possibility of dumping 4 strong artifacts onto the board before she deals damage is nothing to fret about. With cards like Leonin Shikari , Puresteel Paladin , and Leyline of Anticipation she can quickly become a huge threat.
I'll probably try to make a shell around her, what do you think of her?

I think the strongest use with her is getting basically infinite turns. Once she attacks once, you can chain the cards to go through your whole deck, and if that doesn't make you win, I don't know what will.
Working on a list as I speak, but it looks really viable so far.

Interesting. I can definitely see that working. I left a few ideas on the deck. I kind of like the Superfriends idea more actually, it doesn't rely on the high costing commander but the deck's power can be very much amplified by her.

yup, Voltron would be good. Her ability will search for equipment and auras to cast for free. Including Eldrazi Conscription , the Swords, Argentum Armor , Akroma's Memorial , and tons of other good stuff . She also has access to white for all the best equipment helpers like Steelshaper's Gift and Stoneforge Mystic . Just run tons of mana rocks as ramp, which will also drop with the ability, and you'll be casting her early. I think I might actually prefer her to Sigarda, Host of Herons , just simply because of the ability helping dig up Voltron stuff for free. You lose the flying, but its almost a fair trade. She will certainly see EDH play. And it will probably be Voltron.

Don't forget that you can't cast those spells at instant speed unless the revealed cards are instants. She's not some crazy combination of Sigarda and Bruna.

If you build your deck right, you only need two turns with her out to chump someone. It is a shame you can't use the Enchantments and Equipment as she attacks like you can with instants. Personally, I think it would be funny to build a instant based voltron deck, with cards that pump her until the end of turn.

There are cards like Leonin Shikari , Leyline of Anticipation , and Vedalken Orrery that would let you equip/enchant stuff at instant speed. You'd need them out, but hey it works. Or you can just run lots of cards with flash...
