Looking for a new general

I have been playing Prime SPeaker Zegana for a while, and since the deck's inception it has been growing more and more to the point that it's holding it's own against and beating decks like hermit dragons, Derevi stasis lock, and others like them, and is completely unmatched by any other decks in my playgroup, to the point that I haven't played a game of EDH in weeks. I'm looking for a new general to use, for a casual multiplayer deck. I have been playing blue for a while, and thing it's time to mix things up a bit. My playstyle, I want the deck to revolve around the commander, and have the commander be something with a weird, out there kind of effect. Commander damage isn't my thing, although I do have a deep love of the mirroden swords and Stoneforge Mystic .

Reanimator is a thing of mine, although I've been having a lot of issues with it without using blue for looting stuff, but I'll give it another shot

Maralen of the Mornsong could be interesting, depending on your card pool for black.
Rakdos the Defiler is another nasty thing to have on the field.
Captain Sisay can be built a ton of different ways, and provides a decent avenue for commander related play.
Marath, Will of the Wild will ensure you always have something to do. Like a non-blue version of Vorel of the Hull Clade when it comes to playing with your general.

Use Anafenza, the Foremost . Who doesn't love +1/+1 counters. Still gives you access to the lovely Stoneforge Mystic as well.

Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer Could be fun for you, you don't have to voltron him, but instead use him like an overrun, and make it a token/artifact deck, that could be alot of fun.

chaosjace play Archmage. Same format rules as EDH, you just use a Planeswalker card for your "general" instead of a legendary creature.

I've done that, I use kiora to ramp into 6drops like zegana and navigator. My group has a slight variation where you choose a shard or wedge, and have 3 walker generals, one of each 2 color combination. It's fun. My current is naya with ajani, mentor of heroes, Ajani Vengent, and xenagos the reveler.

What do you think of Tariel, Reckoner of Souls for grave recursion, Yisan, the Wanderer Bard for style points, or Shattergang Brothers for utility?

I broke yisan :( I can consistantly turn 7 kill with him, which when you're playing casual, you don't want a deck that can do that with 100% consistancy. Tariel is good colors but.. My cards are so much better, why would I want yours? I'm a very elitist player when it comes to my cards, so reanimating a Wood Elemental by accident would kill me a bit. Shattergang I tried and it instaloses to damia pretty badly. It looks like I'm saying fuck it to the non blue limitation, and using Ephara as my next general. I can't give up my filter draw, I can't.

Based on your criteria, I'd pick up karador. It's non-blue, commander-centric, has a powerful effect, and likes having stoneforge to pick up greaves/clamp/swords for value.
