For reference:
How did you feel about this cycle? Would you like to see it again? Perhaps multicolored, Tribal themed, etc?
Personally I really enjoyed the idea, and I was really happy that Kaalia of the Vast could use all three that were in her colors. I would love to see the idea used again. I believe there is a lot of potential in the idea, and I'm slightly surprised that Wizards hasn't yet used it again.

I loved this cycle I hope they bring it back. My favorite was Tyrant's Familiar, this dragon coming out as a 7/7 haste and dealing 7 damage to a creature on attack is super powerful. If I run red in CMDR I try to have a Tyrant's Familiar in it. I feel like it can be an edh staple

Angelic field marshal helps the rest of your deck though.

I thought they were all good. It was nice to have cards with this kind of interaction with the commander, and I like having the option to include multiple in multicolor decks. They do push for certain strategies over others, but not every card can be a format staple. I do hope they eventually release more cards like this; Bastion Protector, for instance (which also was worded nicely to work with Partner).

Livingham, you got me there, I totally forgot she gives everybody vigilance. In my defense, giving vigilance to everyone is a very small effect for a 6-drop.

MagicalHacker except that Angelic Field Marshal is a 4 drop, NOT a 6 drop.

I see a lot of potential with the cycle, and I really love the theme of additional effects while your Commander is in play.
I see plenty of games where decks don't even play their Commander. Obviously I'm not opposed to that, but I enjoy games where the Commander matters.
I think there is additional potential for cards that get extra effects if an opponent has their Commander in play.

I honestly only liked Thunderfoot Baloth. Having cards that don't do anything for the rest of the deck weren't very good.
That said, I do wish that they also had made these cards give a benefit if you were playing a mono-colored commander. Like seriously, the one chance they had to make mono-colored commanders have benefits that multicolored commanders don't is the one year that they play it safe.
