Kresh the Bloodbraided: Help? Please Comment

I'm in the process of throwing together a Jund EDH deck with with/for a friend using Kresh the Bloodbraided as the general (Whenever another creature dies, you may put X +1/+1 counters on Kresh the Bloodbraided, where X is that creature's power.)

So far I've thrown the following cards together. My question is, are there any staples that must go in this type of deck, and am I on the right track? I especially need help with what non-black spells should go in the deck.

Kresh the BloodbraidedMTG Card: Kresh the Bloodbraided

Spells:

Blazing SpecterMTG Card: Blazing Specter

The staples I recommend really depend more on your budget than anything else. How much are you working with?

Also, is there a decklist somewhere for what you have?

Drop Piranha MarshMTG Card: Piranha Marsh and Khalni GardenMTG Card: Khalni Garden.

Bloodbraid ElfMTG Card: Bloodbraid Elf, great aggro card.Bituminous BlastMTG Card: Bituminous Blast, another kill one of their creatures and probably get one of your own.PentavusMTG Card: Pentavus, combos with Kresh and Butcher of MalakirMTG Card: Butcher of Malakir and Gravepact, 2 mana your opponents each sac a creature and Kresh gets really big.Plague WindMTG Card: Plague Wind, nothing better than wiping their board and then one shot-ing them with Kresh.

I could go on but Kresh is a really good commander that combos really well.

LavalancheMTG Card: Lavalanche is a fantastic card, it can wipe a field and get Kresh a TON of counters. Also, consider sacrifice! It benefits you, as well as putting counters on Kresh. I recommend Phyrexian AltarMTG Card: Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's AltarMTG Card: Ashnod's Altar, and Claws of GixMTG Card: Claws of Gix.

@Epochalyptik: Budget depends on my friend really, although if he isn't that interested, I'll just make the deck for myself, and I don't mind sinking a couple hundred into I guess. Also, no decklist yet because those are just cards I know I have right off the top of my head without going through my collection.

@TimProctor: I can't believe I didn't think of PentavusMTG Card: Pentavus, that's perfect, and while I'm at it, his bastard cousin TriskelavusMTG Card: Triskelavus (I have both on hand.) If I can get a hold of a Bloodbraid ElfMTG Card: Bloodbraid Elf and a Bituminous BlastMTG Card: Bituminous Blast, they're definitely going in. Oh, and please do go on.

@BadumPsh: I like the way you think! LavalancheMTG Card: Lavalanche is an awesome card, and I'll definitely put plenty of sacrifice effects in, as I find them.

If you want though, you can take a look at Merieke Ri Berit EDH, my main EDH deck which also needs some work.

Oh, and Curse of the CabalMTG Card: Curse of the Cabal and Rings of BrighthearthMTG Card: Rings of Brighthearth

In the above land list, Coffers + Urborg gives dumb mana ramp. Deserted TempleMTG Card: Deserted Temple exploits it. Rings of Brighthearth makes it infinite.

ExsanguinateMTG Card: Exsanguinate is also good.

Artisan of KozilekMTG Card: Artisan of Kozilek can help you get sacrifices and also rez something.

ReanimateMTG Card: Reanimate, Animate DeadMTG Card: Animate Dead, NecromancyMTG Card: Necromancy

Keep in mind that cards that are good in 60-card are not necessarily good in EDH (Lightning BoltMTG Card: Lightning Bolt).

Okay, I looked through the cards I have and made this, deck:bloodthirsty-kresh, can you take a look through it, and see if there's any obvious things in the mainboard that need to come out or any obvious things in the maybeboard that need to go in?

I feel like I have a good start, but your list of cards is so intimidating that I don't know what I really need to get out of that (except the lands obviously.)

That's often the way it is with EDH. 100 cards seems like a lot, but it's really not.

I've been following this thread, Kresh is my main deck for EDH, and I win a LOT of games with him. The thing is, I've built him three different ways, two I do not recommend, those are token/weak creatures - reason, you want Kresh to get big and bad as quickly as possible before they have an answer to him; the other way not to build him is sacrifice - who wants to sit there unprotected while your opponents kill you hoping that they kill each other and you can... get the point? Try looking at my deck Kresh Krasher , since you said you didnt mind spending the money, believe me, this deck rules. Ya, I see Epochalyptik gave you a great list, but look how I've built this. I know, some will have differing opinions, and I had to make changes for ages it seems, but this deck will win against most its played. I loaned it to a friend to play my Kaalia deck against it, I got slaughtered with my own deck, last time I did that! Comments are welcome on my page.
