Is Boros Charm worth the slot?

I play a lot of mardu decks and being in the mardu colors I run Boros Charm in almost all of them. Recently I have found myself wanting to take Boros Charm out of decks for more effective cards like Hour of Revelation and Decree of Pain . What has your experience been playing the card Boros Charm and have you found that it is worth the deck slot? Also how do you think it compares to other protection cards like Teferi's Protection and Faith's Reward ? Thank you for any and all input.

The most effective Boros Charm ever was for me was when after an attack my opponent was left at 4 life, then I realized Boros Charm had a third mode.

Teferi's Protection is a sweet card. What mode are you using most on Boros Charm ? If it's the make everything indestructible mode you could try something like Selfless Spirit . Only hits creatures but it can attack in the air so it's not going to sit in your hand doing nothing.

Boros Charm and the other charms are mainly good because they give you options as responses. Although usually having lots of options and responses are good, they're... Not that great of options (outside of the indestructibility). They're only good if you have nothing much else to put in that slot or don't have an answer to something.
If you have other really good answers and are finding it dead in your hand a lot... Take it out.

Also Teferi's Protection is one of the best cards to fill it's spot instead. And I can personally account for how great Selfless Spirit is against boardwipe heavy decks.

I think it's a pretty good card in general, but not an auto-include. It depends on what your deck is trying to do. If your deck likes to take players out with commander damage, the indestructible + double strike is an excellent split card. It's also a good keep if you run a Sunforger package.

Well first off Teferi's Protection is amazing. There's nothing better. I also find myself wanting to take out Boros Charm alot because in most cases you want to use the charm in response to a board wipe. But more often then not I find myself using boros charm to save one thing from removal. Or giving something double strike. But way to often I don't use it. It feels dead in my hand to often. I think there's better options.
