I think this card is under the radar

One of the worst things you can do that ruins the fun of CMDR is MLD (mass land destruction) the second worst is MHD (mass hand disruption) hints the reason Leovold got banned. So there is this card I have been testing and I really really like it. It's called. Spirit en-Dal, it's forecast ability is unstoppable because of MHD being looked down upon in CMDR. The card is like Constant Mist you just keep using it and it's really hard to deal with. Just my thoughts and I wanted to share this card with you guys. It's flying way under the radar. I think it's worth checking out and trying out

But of course wheels happen alot in CMDR but if that's not a thing in the game you're playing this card is great.

I like it in Voltron decks. It's very effective if you like to beat people up with stacked commanders or even just regular cards with great on-hit abilities. I agree that it's underrepresented and has a lot of potential in the right builds.

I mean it's good in alot of builds this card with Serra Avatar or Malignus or Realm Seekers all seem really good

Spirit en-Dal in a Saskia the Unyielding deck seems perfect.

It's ok. The real issue is that decks that care about unblockability on one creature (mainly voltron + decks with big, scary creatures) just aren't that great.

I feel the same way about Dauthi Embrace which works a bit better in my meta since there are a few wheel decks while enchant destruction is somewhat more limited.

I also like the embrace a bit more since it can be done multiple times a turn.

It's certainly good. But unblockable is not a foreign concept to Commander, no? I mean, my games certainly see their fair share of Rogue's Passage and Key to the City or similar effects. Definitely a good addition thought and having it in hand gives some protection.

Basically yes all the other cards you mentioned are great cards but the biggest point I was making was. It's really hard to remove. Everyone has enchantment and artifact removal. But not everyone has a way to remove a card from your hand. Additionally rogues passage is 5 mana to do

Fun fact about Dauthi Embrace: You can use it on opponents creatures to force them to block unfavorably. For example, Player A has a creature out that's shutting down your strategy Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir for instance), and Player B attacks them for lethal commander damage. Now, you don't want Player A to lose yet, cause you need their help to deal with Player B. Give both Teferi and Player B's attacker shadow, and your problem is removed!

That's a very nitch and it's just one example I know. But Dauthi Embrace has a weakness for it is a permanent and can be easily removed. And Alot of people do know about Dauthi Embrace but mostly no one knows about Spirit en-Dal and that card is harder to deal with unless you're up against a few wheel effects.

My point was simply that in my meta hands are not safe places to keep cards. Simply given the popularity of Nekusar I doubt the hand is as safe as you think in general. Though it is cool that there are groups where red doesn't use Wheel of Fortune effects for all of its draw...

It is still a cool find and I might actually have a place for it in my Ramos deck since there are several creatures that I'd like to force through in that deck.

I was looking at Spirit en-Dal for a few decks, but I much preferred the versatility of other options. The problem I have is it's basically a sorcery-speed trick that can only be cast on your upkeep. Key to the City and Rogue's Passage, while being permanents that can be destroyed, have their own versatility, being instant speed, the Key's loot ability is awesome, and the Passage being a land with little opportunity cost. And, this might just be my meta, but I've actually had shadow creatures out that opponents have had blockers for. But hey, if it works for you and your meta, more power to you.
