i need some help on my dragon EDH deck using Scion of the Ur-Dragon

i have a EDH dragon deck using scion of the ur-dragon. i like is so far but i need to take out 3 cards. it needs to be ready soon for the tournament so id appreciate if you could give me some feedback. on a second note, a +1 would also be appreciated. i could always give ur decks a +1 too. thanks for the help
Have you thought about Moltensteel Dragon ? If your opponent can't block your Scion, then the best choice would be to copy the Moltensteel, declare your attack, and pay 34 life to pump him up to 21, which is just enough to kill them with commander damage. I know this is kind of risky but that's why I said only when you have no opposition from blockers and it would be even better if they were tapped out.

I recommend you take a look at Dragonza!. This was the first EDH deck i made and i have been fine tuning it for 6 months now to be more world affecting. Granted it isn't designed to win but it has the capability. Ive replicated dragon mage and milled the group for 42 cards. ive replicated the Sphinx and put everyone down to 10 life, including myself. And with the new join forces cards that give permanents, warp world becomes my favorite card. If you are trying to win at EDH then you forgot its core concept of just having fun imo. Counterspells are the worst. There is a certain spark of enjoyment you get just before you play a spell that affects the entire board that is immediately taken away with counterspell. Dashing hopes of a single person takes away from the environment of entertainment. Take a stand against Counterspell maintain the fun!

I know you're looking to take things out, not put them in, and you've probably seen every dragon there is, but my favorite dragon ever is card:Teeka's Dragon. Plus, he's great for Scion. Oh you block with an infinite swarm of pentavites? Ok, well I pay 2, and search for...... slam TEEKA'S DRAGON!

Well, it is a little hard to give advice on a deck when you don't link to it..... I'd assume it's deck:theoneandonlydragon-edh, but you really should leave the link next time. I'll pop over there and have a look.

I suppose it would be cool if your deck leveled up with experience and +1's equated to experience and then when we played them in real life we would match up our decks to see who had more +1s and the person with less would play with a disadvantage because their deck was less powerful.
..
On a side note. I wish I could get my playgroup to adopt EDH. Is there anyone who has success stories on conversions, or is it pretty much like that episode of Seinfeld where they try to convert homosexuals to become straight?July 4, 2011 5:52 p.m.
