How do I build a commander cube?

First of all I apologize if there is a thread for this somewhere, if so feel free to direct me that way!

Anyway I just watched the most recent episode of Game Knights featuring Brandon Sanderson's own commander cube and I thought it looked like an absolute blast to play.

I want to build my own but I don't really know where to start, or where it should end up honestly.

How many total cards if you are drafting from I think Sanderson's cube had like 252 cards? I forget, then they shuffled and drafted 3 packs each of 21 cards?

Is that common? Is there a different way to do it you think is better?

Just looking for advice and ideas. Thanks in advance!

I am by no means knowledgable about making cubes, but I found a few links that may be helpful. I would also suggest adding plenty of draw in every color and not letting blue get all of the good draw. Hope this helps!

I would say that the 21 cards vs 14/15 cards that would be normal is to get more cards into the draft pool as this is a 4 person draft format so the decks can be more tuned but still be 3 packs vs going up to 4 packs for the same number of cards.

That makes sense for sure. How many cards should the whole cube have you think?

Listening to an episode of LR (514) they say to build your cube so 2/3 is seen every draft. So if your drafting 63 cards per player for 4 players you should have 366 cards.

Hi! I have been working on creating my first cube and it is an EDH cube as well. Here is a link to mine and some of the processes I have gone through.
