Help me choose next mono-colour EDH to focus on!

Hey folks!,
Finally finished my Nemata, Grove Guardian mono green deck, and I'm looking to start my next one. Identified generals I like in each colour, but can't decide which to go with. Bear in mind that these aren't necessarily designed to be supremely competitive ;)
Mono Blue - Mistform Ultimus - Casual deck with lots of lords.
Mono Black - Shauku, Endbringer - Heavy stax and creature locks
Mono Red - Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient - red artifacts
Mono White - General Jarkeld - Banding and opponents turn hijinks
They all sound interesting except for Jarkeld. I'd say go with Mistform Ultimus . Not a ton of blue lords besides Merfolk, but you can get other changelings and maybe some cephilid buffs.

@DarkHero - I first got into magic with the M12 mono blue illusion tribal precon and illusions quickly became my thing, definitely got a soft spot the guy :) Like I said though, it would have to be some sort of volton deck, and otherwise he's a pretty vanilla creature...
@Indigoindigo - I've always liked artifacts, and not sure if we can post links here, but commandertheory has posted a great looking Kurkesh list. Unfortunately, my deck isn't looking that inventive in comparison. At least Metalworker is unbanned now :)

Well I've been having fun with my Norin the Wary EDH deck: Norin Causes Chaos. Resolving Warp World or Thieves' Auction in a 4 player game is ridiculously satisfying.
Out of the generals you have listed, I think Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient would be the most fun to play.

Among the commanders you've listed, and even though I am not a fan of blue, Mistform Ultimus seems the most interesting.
The other option, the option I like the most, is build all of them. Right now. Simultaneously.

Shauku, Endbringer looks intertaining but with the full out ban on Braids not sure how good it would be.

I agree Jeggard, I had a whole list planned, with fun things that interact with her like Portcullis and Eon Hub , but the recent bannings have hurt mono black stax a bit..
At least I don't play Nath of the Gilt-Leaf :p Braids AND Rofellos :p

That would be horrible! But personally i would still try and see what is possible with Shauku, Endbringer since you did say not super competitive.

Having run Shauku, Endbringer before, I'd say go with her. She's funny with Eon Hub so you aren't losing all your life during your upkeep.
