Had an idea for a new spin on the format.

Seeing the C14 spoil of the mechanic Lieutenant inspired me to put a new twist on an emperor version of commander.
Same rules as commander and emperor except for one change. The emperor's underlings have to use one of the lieutenants from C14 in the colors of the emperor's commander.
For example, if I were the emperor and my commander was 8.5 tails then my underlings could each only use Angelic Field Marshal.
Interesting twist? Or just bad?

The question, then, is:
Would it count as its own commander? So for that, it would always be a 5/5 Vigilance?
Barring some questions like this, it could definitely be interesting. I would hope that there would be more than one Lieutenant per color, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I'd love to do emperor commander where all 3 generals on a team have to be connected in the lore somehow

Interesting, but until we see the other Lieutenants I can't really say if it's bad. I feel like it's sorta unnecessarily restricting. More of a house rule than a new format, yknow?
